SEWER & WATER INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADES

We have begun to repair and replace aging water and sewer infrastructure through out the city. This process will be completed in phases. Residents will be notified prior to the start of any work. Work may include rehabilitation of existing manholes which includes removal and replacement, catch basin replacement, and water main and other utility infrastructure relocation work.

Work consists of:

• rehabilitation of existing combined sewers by cured - in - place pipe lining (CIPP)
• removal and replacement of existing sewers with new sewer pipe including associated sewer cleaning
• locating and reconnecting active sewer connections
• excavation, back-filling and compaction
• environmental protection and restoration
• pavement, concrete, and missionary work
• internal television inspections
• maintenance of sewage flows
• soil handling and disposal
• guniting
• traffic control

During construction phases you may experience:

• street/ lane closures
• parking restrictions
• minor traffic delays
• scheduled water shut offs
